Well it was basically secularism and democracy preached in terms a Muslim can accept ... well that's a good thing isn't it ?

Besides he's a funny guy with a great oratorical style.

Who can argue with the central message ... about peaceful democratic engagement ...

I liked the it about the reforms of John Wesley .. though he was careful not to relate that to (the needed) reform of Islam ... particularly in terms of accountability.

I liked the bit about "this is not Rawalpindi, this is not Karachi, this is not some Muslim country where you get locked up for criticising the government .. this government is accountable etc ... " ...
