The prophet, peace be upon him, said:

"Avoid cruelty and injustice...and guard yourselves against miserliness, for this has ruined nations who lived before you."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Allah will relieve anyone who relieves a believer of one of the afflictions of this world, of one of the afflictions of the Day of Rising.

Allah will give ease in this world and the Next to anyone who eases the hardship of another.

Allah will veil anyone who veils another Muslim in this world and the Next.

Allah will help His slave as long as His slave is helping his brother."

(Hadith in Sahih Muslim)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Look at those who are inferior to you (in wealth) and do not look at those who are superior to you, for this will keep you from belittling Allah's Favour to you.''

Hadith Qudsi

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he charged his sons, saying: When I have died, burn me, then crush me and scatter [my ashes] into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord takes possession of me, He will punish me in a manner in which He has punished no one [else]. So they did that to him. Then He said to the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was! And He said to him: What induced you to do what you did? He said: Being afraid of You, O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of You) and because of that He forgave him.

It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah).

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should be good to his neighbours.

Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous to his guest.

Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or be silent."

(Hadith in Al-Bukhari)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said (to one of his companions):

Young man, if you are mindful about God He will be mindful of you, and if you are mindful of God you will find Him before you.

When you ask for anything ask it from God, and if you seek help seek in God.

Know that if the people were to unite to do you some benefit they could benefit you only with what God had recorded for you and that if they were to unite to do you some injury they could injure you only with what God had recorded for you. The pens are withdrawn and the pages are dry.

Volume 8, Book 73, Number 83 Al Bukhari:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (fasting)."
