Peace and Justice for All - Part 22

Part 22 of Dr. Jamal Badawi's series on Peace TV titled (Peace and Justice)

In this episode, Dr. Jamal explains the start of the migration from Makkah to Madinah

The first three early things the Prophet did in Madinah were:

1- To build the masjid

2- To establish brotherhood between the Muslims of Makkah and the Muslims of Madinah

3- To establish the Constitution of Madinah that governs the relations between Muslims, Jews and other non-Muslims of Madinah

Brief Introduction to the Quran

For a Muslim, the Quran is the word of God; literal word of God communicated to His last Prophet and Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through Angel Gabriel.

For a Muslim, this is the ultimate source of authority because its not only revelation or inspiration of God, its verbatim word or revelation of God...

Tearful Eyes Heavy Responsibility of Being a Witness

An interesting talk last spring at the ICNA-MAS Convention by Dr. Jamal Badawi in Baltimore reflecting on this verse of the Qur'an:

How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?

The First Minority Community in Makkah

An interesting talk by Dr. Jamal last month in Chicago at the MAS-ICNA Convention

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Established the First Minority Community in Makkah.

Due to a difference in belief, ethnicity, and social class, the Muslim community in Mekkah was a minority one.

For this, Muslims faced all kinds physical, emotional, and psychological difficulties.

How did the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ build such a cohesive minority community who stood firmly amidst all these challenges and was successfully able to deliver the message?

What lessons can we take living in similar circumstances in order to achieve similar success?

Reshaping the Contemporary Muslim Mind | 15th MAS ICNA Convention

The American Muslim community is under pressure to conform and let go of its morals and beliefs.

Due to the negative climate and constant barrage of Islamophobia, many Muslims lose hope or suffer trauma and anxiety.

This session will help up to identify this crisis and offer solutions
