Patience, Knowledge, Wisdom, Faith and Peace

Can you find peace without Patience, Knowledge, Wisdom and Faith?

Not easy.

Why?

Because if you don't have patience we will not be able to benefit from life's hardships to grow in faith and peace.

And if you don't have the basics of divine knowledge, you won't follow the right path, which means you won't find peace in this world and the next.

And if you are not a wise person, you won't take the right decisions in life, and again that means no peace.

And finally, if you don't have faith, how can you find real eternal peace?

Stay Calm and Be Patient

Being impatient and losing your temper is a recipe for the loss of inner peace.

If you really want to keep your inner peace, stay calm, and don't be provoked.

Patience is a virtue

Hardships are Often Opportunities Not Punishments

Sometimes we think that if we are going through a hardship that this is a punishment from God.

In reality, with each hardship there is a positive side to it, as it is an opportunity to bring us closer to God.

Hardships can help us cure and heal, so don't panic and ask God for His guidance and support.

Keep Away From Negativity

If you want to find peace, keep away from the negativity you can avoid.

The media and social media are full of negative fights on nearly all topics, from politics to religion.

If you get involved in all negative issues, you will surely lose your inner peace.

So be wise, focus on what benefits you, keep away from negative people who waste your time, and stay connected to your Creator.

He is the source of all peace.

Patience is a Virtue

It's often not easy to be patient, as impatience is part of the nature of human beings.

But it is an important virtue to seek, and God commands us in many verses in the Qur'an to be patient.

Why?

Because God wants us to get to know Him and to be close to Him, and it is often at times of difficulties that we remember Him most.

He has a wisdom in the events which take place in our lives, and we may not understand some of them, but what is important is to always be patient.

"... Indeed, Allah is with the patient" (2:153)

Trust God

Sometimes the tunnel is too dark

And sometimes we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel

But the light is there ...

Trust God and be patient

After hardship there will be ease

Don't Worry About Old Age

I was reading sister Yasmin Mogahed's new book today, and one of her interesting quotes is the following:

True beauty grows with age

The more you grow, the more love you can contain.

Many people worry about old age: what will they do? how will they cope?

But this reflection is very true if one is on the right path:

With more faith, knowledge and wisdom, old age can become a very fulfilling era, so don't worry.

Trust in God, and keep close to Him, if you are searching for peace.

Don't Worry About the Future: God has a Plan

Most people worry about tomorrow, next month and next year

But should a believer really worry about the future?

If we believe that God is in control, why worry?

He has a plan for humanity and He gave us free will, and promised a good life here and in the Hereafter to those who believe in Him and use their free will as per His guidance.

So why worry?

Do your best, put your trust in Him and be patient, if you are searching for peace.

Don't Lose Focus of Your Final Destination

This worldly life is a transition.

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Verily, the example of this world and myself is that of a rider who seeks shade under a tree, then he moves on and leaves it behind."

So the "tree" where a traveler rests for a while in its shade before moving on is only a transition.

The final destination of our journey is when we return to our Creator.

That is what really counts: to complete our journey with a sound heart while He is pleased of how we lived this life.

Anything else in this world does not matter, so don't be sad if something goes against your plan.

God has a plan, and to Him one day we will return, to the Abode of Peace, insha Allah.

Be Content & Don't Worry About the Future

Contentment is a precious treasure for a believer.

Why?

Because the opposite of contentment is discontentment and that is a negative feeling which empties the heart of inner peace.

Contentment on the other hand is paradise on earth.

It takes away worries about the future, and makes one live his or her day in peace and tranquility.

If you are really searching for peace, be content.

God Forgives When We Repent

No one is free from sin...

We are not angels.

God created human beings with weaknesses, but He showed us how to repent.

So don't despair when you commit a mistake, God's Door is always open.

All what you need to do is ask Him to forgive, and He is a Forgiving, Merciful God.

Never Lose Hope

After hardship there is always ease, so don't worry.

Hope is what keeps us going, so trust in God, and ask Him for help...

And He responds...

At the end of the dark tunnel there is light.

And the more patient you are, the closer the light, so keep going and be patient.

Tomorrow will be a better day In-Shaa-Allah (God Willing)

Remembering God is our Spiritual Oxygen

Can you live without oxygen?

Your spirit cannot live without remembering its Creator

If you want to charge your spirituality, remember Him, and He will remember you.

Keep Away From Fights

People fight all the time for trivial matters

Is that a wise thing to do?

Whether about sports, or on social media, many people waste a lot of their previous time fighting and arguing for the sake of arguing.

Don't be that person if you are searching for peace
