MAS-ICNA 2013: "Following the Prophet at Home"

A talk by Sheikh Yassir Fazaga

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was known to have said, "The best of you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family."

Our beloved Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) is the example to follow in dealing with the many aspects of our lives.

We take our following the Prophet in character and mannerisms seriously in many contexts, but how often do we fall short in following him in the way he treated his family?

How did he treat his children and his grand-children?

MAS-ICNA 2013: "The Coolness of My Eyes is in Prayer"

A talk by Sheikh Yassir Fazaga

The title is taken from the hadith of the prophet (pbuh) where he mentions that one of the beloved things in this world is prayer.

How can we use prayer to get closer to Allah (swt)?

How can we keep up with our prayers and even start to include more sunnah?

What about prayers we have missed? In the end, without prayer, there is no success in this life.

MAS-ICNA 2013: "Knowing the Prophet, Loving Him... Following Him"

A talk by Sheikh Kifah Mustafa

They say that to truly fall in love with a person, you have to spend time with them. And so it is with our beloved Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him)!

We all know who he was and may know a story or two from Sunday school, but have we really spent time studying the amazing life of our Prophet?

Have we become so familiar with his beautiful character that we feel like we know him as well as a friend or family member? Do we feel proud in following him and adopting his guidance?

In this session, we talk about what it means to love the Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) and how we can cultivate this love in our hearts!
