Brother Muhammad Abou Talib is one of the leading American Muslim youth who are rising among the new generation of Muslims in the US who have the knowledge about Islam and the communication skills to present this knowledge to others, especially to young people

This was his talk last month at the MAS-ICNA Convention in a session titled "A Roadmap for Achieving the Renaissance"

To bring about success, all necessary elements should be covered. Maintaining the success is by no means less important than achieving it. Therefore the building process needs to be well controlled in order for the foundation to be robust and the end result will last long. This session presents the main features for the process of building the Renaissance, which includes comprehensiveness, balance, and relevance

Steadfastness - Do Not Lose Hope

A Talk at the MAS-ICNA Convention - December 2013

Allah's support to His faithful servants is an assured promise, but we need to acquire the characteristics of the believers.

With the many problems happening in the United States and around the world, whether it's social, political, or financial, sometimes we become hopeless, but trust God and be patient. Yet, Allah has promised us success and we need to acknowledge that always. "....Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us."..... (9:40)

This session gives a prescription for acquiring steadfastness and directs take home messages on maintaining our commitment to our Creator during our daily life actions

What the Qur'an Taught Me About Freedom

The Boy, The King, and the Deafening Silence. I learned that freedom doesn't die amid backwards people who hate it, but to the cheers of opportunists who persecute a minority for their individual gain; to the applause of a clueless crowd that leaves justice to die as collateral damage for stability; and to the deafening silence of a majority too scared or too indifferent to say anything about it.

The Clash of Reason and Revelation: Reconciling Science and Scripture in Islam

Religion and revelation are often thought to clash with reason and science, but the Islamic worldview offers the opportunity to recognize the realm of each and deal with any perceived contradictions in a mature intellectual framework.

Explore the relation between each as we take a parallel journey to that of Albert Einstein in seeking to understand God and His Word.

Originally given at MAS Youth Conference at Queens College in New York.

Knowledge should be celebrated, but should ignorance be candidly admitted or readily dismissed?

Not In My Name: When Crime is Disguised as Islam

In this sermon, Mohamed AbuTaleb discusses the unusual marriage of two groups interested in marginalizing Muslims and demonizing Islam - extremist groups like ISIS and Islamophobes - and how Muslims must take back the narrative of Islam for themselves.

Imam Muhammad Abou Talib gave this speech in Chicago last month at the 15th. MAS-ICNA Convention.
