Decades of research proves that chemicals used to make bacon do cause cancer.

So how did the meat industry convince us it was safe?

At my advanced age, I can only wonder how I reached an advanced age.

These are foods I remember were going to kill me.

Peanuts (stomach cancer)

Cranberries (radioactive, as I recall)

Eggs (too much fat, salmonella )

Butter (too much fat)

Margarine (wrong kind of fat)

Milk ( strontium 90, if I'm remembering correctly.)

Sugar (diabetes, tooth decay, obesity, etc.)

Sugar substitutes ( nasty death dealing substances)

Reading words on white paper (wouldn't kill you but would blind you, as would sitting within 12 feet of a tv. I believe this is why blackboards became green boards. For awhile there was talk of printing all books on pale green stock.)

Fluoride (Communist plot)

I'm sure there is more, but this may, like the others, pass into shrug your shoulders territory.

Either that or the secret to long life is to eschew eating entirely, and don't drink anything either because the water isn't safe, and soft drinks are deadly poison and fruit juice contains too much sugar and alcohol!

Enjoy your dinner.

To bolster my point, here is a list of 75 common foods that will endanger you.

http://www.eatthis.com/unhealthiest-foods-on-the-planet/

Notice that many of them are widely considered to be safe, but they're not! Beware! Eating or drinking can kill you!

One thing I learned watching a video this week is why God prohibits pork in general, not only bacon.

It is very high on Omega 6, and this is very harmful to one's health.

According to this new video, the level of Omega 6 in pork, compared to say beef, is nearly 5 times higher:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNYhBr7Ej3I

The video is in Arabic, but the speaker gives all the scientific references in English, so it's all based on scientific research done in recent years.

When God says no pork, He knows what is harmful for us, because He is our Creator.
