NEW JERSEY – Dr. Jerald F. Dirks, a Christian missionary- turned-Muslim scholar, passed away on Monday, January 14, leaving behind a wealth of books on Islam and comparative religions.

“Dr. Jerald F. Dirks has passed away. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon,” Mostafa Higazi, an American Muslim living in Paterson, New Jersey, wrote.

“The Ummah has learned much from him on both Islam, Christianity, and comparative religion. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah al Firdous. Ameen.” ...
